Redlight’s Debut Album is in X Color
Hugh Pescod, better known as Redlight (pictured), has announced his debut album, coming out on his label Lobster Boy.
Having already experienced success over the years with tracks like ‘Get Out My Head’, ‘Lost In Your Love’ and ‘9TS (90s Baby)’, the London-based producer includes groove-laden new single ‘Lion Jungle’ (with Mobb Deep’s Prodigy) on the record which comes out on October 30.
‘Gold Teeth’ also features on the album after being released as a single last year, as do collaborations with Roses Gabor and Andrea Martin.
If the other tracks on the album are anything like the two that have been released then we’re all in for a treat come October.

Bicep and Hammer meet on Dahlia EP
Bicep and Hammer have a collaborative record titled Dahlia on the way.
Due out September 7th, it’s the fifth 12-inch on Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar’s Feel My Bicep label. It sees the pair again hitting the studio with Hammer, AKA Rory Hamilton, who previously partnered with Bicep on 2014’s Lyk Lyk 12-inch and a free digital single titled “I Believe.” The vinyl version contains three cuts, with an additional two tracks featuring on the digital EP. Dahlia will land a few months on from Bicep’s Just EP on Will Saul’s Aus Music. They’re also giving away a limited-edition 12-inch to the first 50 advance ticket-holders of each event at their ongoing residency at XOYO in East London.

Hear Tom Demac’s New EP for Hypercolour
Following on from his January collaboration with Gazelle Twin on Hypercolour, and the following “Smoke Stained Ivories” on AUS Music, London artist Tom Demac will return to Hypercolour on August 15 with The Shuttle Awaits EP.
The Shuttle Awaits EP features the deeply layered title track, which beautifully melds floating vocal samples with club-ready beats and a growling low end, and mesmerizing B-side cut, “Dave Saints.”
With a track on Cocoon’s forthcoming O compilation, as well as an upcoming remix for the renowned German imprint, Demac seems to be hitting his stride. Ahead of The Shuttle Awaits official release, you can stream the title track and “Dave Saints” in full below.

Listen to Felix Jaehn’s “Book of Love” ft. Polina
Felix Jaehn has unveiled his next original production, “Book of Love” featuring Polina. On the track, Felix Jaehn lays down a bed of emotive piano chords, xylophone melodies, and slick guitar work on top of four-on-the-floor rhythms, setting the stage for Polina’s soulful croons to shine through. Keep an eye out for the “Book of Love” release on August 28th via Island/Universal Records.
